Award winning Bay Area interior designer Anu has worked with clients from San Francisco to Los Gatos. Her work at a Pacific Heights residence was recognized with a Gold Award by the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).
Art is a big part of her design aesthetic. She formerly worked as an Art Director at a leading street art gallery in San Francisco, where she curated new exhibitions every month with local and international artists. In addition, she also managed the mural department where she conceptualized and directed the designs for the artists to work on, blending her interest of art and interiors. This includes commercial clients like Marine Layer clothing stores, Curry Up Now restaurant, Market Bridge and in many private residences.
Anu thrives on meeting new people and has a passion to design the most unique interiors curated from a mix of the patinated old and the curious new. Her skillful use of color and lighting make for fresh and enduring designs.
Her other interests are in the broader art community, having been involved with the Asian Art museum, and as a board member of World Arts West, the organizer of San Francisco’s acclaimed Ethnic Dance Festival.
